This episode we are throwing away what little remains of our street cred and we broke out the Warhammer 40k starter set, Assault on Black Reach.
This starter set gives you a massive 46 models, a miniature rulebook, some templates and an utterly insufficient number of dice considering the number you will need to roll!

Another entertaining cast it would be great to have an unabridged game cast I think listening to discussions about rules and blue-tack as well as a the running commentary could be quite amusing

I was thinking about that, but it would really need to be a separate show type and it would also be pretty long.
It might be an interesting format though…

The only thing I liked slightly better from the Dreadfleet podcast over this was the little musical interlude between turns. It’s a silly but it provided a clear audio cue that you guys were done talking and when you came back, time had past.
Over all though, neat podcast and I hate you guys for now making me interested in playing Warhammer 40k.

I’m putting together some music for future shows. At the moment the only suitable stuff I had went in the last show, and even then it still went all Knight Rider when I cracked under the pressure of listening back to it while editing
