This time we have been busy accusing each other of being Cylons in the Battlestar Galactica boardgame from Fantasy Flight Games. This is a game for 2 to 6 players in which you have to get the Galactica to Kobol before the cylons destroy you. The cool part of the game is the you don’t know who the cylons are and can find out that you are one yourself during the game.

Coincidentally enough, Kirith Kodachi, EVE Blogging Overlord, has a recent post about the game too, including a great many photos of the board and pieces, so do check that out if you want to know more:

Love the new format guys. So glad you are back. I like board games but get little chance to play these days.
On Co-op games thought of a couple you could try if you want.
Shadows over Camelot
Betrayal at House on the Hill
Arkham Horror
Shadows and Arkham can be long so give yourself a few hours for those especially on the first play through.

People keep mentioning Arkham Horror to me – sometimes random passers by in the street I’ve never met before in towns I will only visit once, so there must be something in that one. I’ll investigate further!

I nearly got Arkham Horror on Saturday actually, but I got the Gears of War boardgame instead as I knew it would annoy a certain person more.
It’s certainly on the list.
